Do I have to pay upfront before you return my document?

As of June 2007 all clients are required to pay upfront. Only on rare cases for our regular clients that we may allow you to pay after the translation is completed.

If you are a first-time client and you want to try us out, try our economy service for a minimum of 600 words, it's only RM60.00.

If you are worried about making payment when you have tight deadlines, please contact us a few days before you plan to send us your work.

So you will know how much it will cost and you can make payment in advance to ensure that you don't miss your deadline.

Can I pay by installment?

Yes you can. You can use our service rendered per installment payment option.

What is service rendered per installment payment option?

Your work will be translated/proofread according to the received amount of payment you made.

Lets take an example: You want us to translate your 2,000 words document using our standard service.

Upon confirmation of receiving payment for 500 words, 500 words of your document will be translated.
The next 500 words will be translated upon confirmation of receiving the next 500 words payment. And so on.

So your 2,000 words document will probably be completed in 10 days instead of just in 2 days (48 hours).

Will you revise my document if I am not happy with your editing the first time?

In 99% of cases, clients are pleased with our work the first time. However, we are very happy to revise or clarify any part of our work. Please inform us the required revision immediately - within seven days of we returning your work.

We provide revisions at no extra charge, so long as they are within the boundaries of the original project. If you request additional work on new content or a change of formatting to that which was first requested, there may be an additional charge.

Additional charges are at the discretion of the editor, but bear in mind that you will always be informed of any additional charges before we begin work.

Do you write aticles or web contents?

No. We are not an assignment/content writing service and we do not do any research for you or provide you with new content. You must complete the research and write your content first, before sending it to us for translating/proofreading.

How do I calculate the word count of my document?

We use the 'Word Count' function in Microsoft Word (Tools menu -> Word Count - See image below). The word count is taken from the document as you send it to us, not the word count after translating/proofreading and editing. If you do not want us to translate/proofread any parts of your document, please let us know when submitting your document to us. This is to make sure we do not count it in the word count when we price your document.

I didn't get my translated/proofread document back, what should I do?

The first thing you should do is make sure you don't have a SPAM email filter or similar blocking email sent from SimplyTranslate.net. Be certain to 'white-list' (permit) our email address - support@simplytranslate.net. If you have second and third back-up email accounts please let us know about them so we can send your document to all your email accounts. Also make sure your email account is not set to filter attachments since we send your edited files as Microsoft Word attachments or for .html documents, we send it as .zip.

If you are worried about your email account not working please contact us to arrange an alternative document return method.
